I am happy to announce that I was a Pastoral Candidate at the church my family and I are members at have been serving in since August last year. Today, Sunday June 3rd the church members voted and accepted me as the new pastor. We are excited to see how God continues to use us and this church to further His gospel and glory. We are now beginning a transitional time for month of June and will assume the Pastorate starting Monday, July 9th. Please keep us and First Baptist Church of Brownsdale, MN in your prayers. Thank you to those who knew of the vote and have been praying for us.
I will continue to post my sermon manuscripts here, but I may also start linking them to our church’s website at http://firstbaptistbrownsdale.org.
Sola Scriptura! Solus Christus! Soli Deo Gloria!
Sorry for being so behind since Easter, but April and May have been really busy. There are a couple of exciting announcements that I’d like to to mention.
First, a few of you who know me and my family are aware that my wife are eagerly awaiting the birth of twins within the next two weeks (so multiple Dr trips over the last couple of months have put a hinder on my writing).
The second piece of exciting news I can’t quite discuss here yet. I’ll be sure to fill everyone in within the next few weeks when everything is settled and confirmed. All I can say is that more changes are coming for my wife and I, beyond adding two more precocious lives to our growing family.
Memorial Day a day we set aside to remember the men and women who died in service of our nation while serving in the armed services.
During your holiday gatherings, grill-outs, yard work, or even if you don’t have the day off from your job, please take time to pause and thank God for the freedoms we have here in the US. Say a prayer for the families that are missing a loved one today. But please remember that the freedoms we have bought by the blood of those service men and women who have died for us.
